DROPI is now prepared to be adopted and came to visit the shelter. She is with us since August 2010.
DROPI ist nun für eine Adoption vorbereitet und besuchte das Tierheim. Sie ist seit August 2010 bei uns.
Ocurrieron una seria de circunstancias en su vida, por las que todavía está con nosotros.
Fué retirada de la Perrera de Santa Brigida en su dia, para un matrimonio de Las Palmas. Pero estas personas se vovieron atrás, por lo que Dropi se quedó con nosotros.
There happened some things in her life and that is why she still is with us. She was taken out the dog-pound of Santa Brigida for a couple from Las Palmas, but those people stepped back and that`s how Dropi stayed with us.
Es gab eine Reihe von Umständen, weshalb sie immer noch bei uns ist. Wir holten sie für ein Paar aus Las Palmas aus dem Tierheim Santa Brigida, aber diese Leute überlegten es sich anders, so dass DROPI bei uns blieb.
Resultó positivo su test de filaria, por lo que empezamos el tratamiento contra esta enfermedad. Al poco tiempo nos dimos cuenta que estaba preñada, y no la pudimos esterilizarla por correr peligro su vida a causa del tratamiento medico. Hubo que suspender el tratamiento y dejarla tener los cachorros. Despues de destetar y adoptar los cachorros se reanudó el tratamiento.
She had a heart-worm test and this was positive, so we started treating this disease. Soon we realized she was pregnant, and we could not sterilize her because her life could be in danger of the medical treatment. We had to stop the treatment and let her have the puppies. After weaning the puppies and they got adopted, she continued with her treatment.
Ihr Herzwurmtest war positiv, deshalb wurde erst einmal diese Krankheit behandelt. Bald stellten wir fest, dass sie trächtig war, aber eine Sterilisation während der Medikation hätte ihr Leben gefährdet. So wurde die Behandlung abgesetzt und wir ließen sie ihre Welpen gebären. Nach der Geburt der Welpen und deren Adoption wurde die Behandlung fortgesetzt.
Ahora ya está curada y muy a gusto en su casa de acogida, pero ya es hora de encontrar un hogar definitivo para ella. Es una perra buenisima, pequeña, no da nada de trabajo en la casa, siempre está contenta, feliz y agradecida, y le encantan los paseos.
Now she is cured and very happy in her foster home, but now it`s time to find a definitive home for her. She is a very lovely dog, small, not work at all in the house, always happy and grateful and she loves to go for a walk.
Nun ist sie gesund und bei ihrer Pflegefamilie glücklich, aber es ist an der Zeit ein endgültiges Zuhause für sie zu finden. Sie ist ein liebenswürdiger Hund, klein, pflegeleicht im Haus, immer fröhlich und dankbar und liebt Gassi gehen.
Aunque HARLEY tiene un aspecto impresionante es como un corderito con las personas y con los otros perros.
So glücklich laufen HARLEY und AIKA am Berg. Obwohl HARLEY beeindruckend aussieht, ist er zu Menschen und anderen Hunden lammfromm.

Y así de guapa se ha puesto LOTTA, la pointer encontrada en mal estado y desnutrida, corriendo por el barranco arrastrando una vara metalica atada a su espalda.
Ha recuperado peso y confianza, y se ha puesto muy bonita en poco tiempo.
And here we LOTTA pretty as she is, the pointer who was found in bad state and underfed, running in the barranco with a metal tube attached to her back.
She recovered her weight and confidence, and became beautiful in a very short time.
Hier haben wir die Schönheit LOTTA, die unterernährt und in schlechtem Zustand gefunden wurde, als sie mit einer am Rücken angebundenen Metallstange durch den Barranco lief. Sie hat ihr Gewicht und Zutrauen zurück und wurde in kürzester Zeit ein schönes Tier.
LELA, nos ha ido ganando el corazón poco a poco, por su nobleza, y por lo agradecida que es cuando alguien juega a la pelota con ella. Siempre está con una pelota en la boca y mirando a todos los que pasan con ojos suplicantes, como diciendo: "juega conmigo un ratito.........."
LELA, did win our hearts bit by bit, for her nobility, and for the grateful she is when somebody is playing ball with her. She is always with a ball in her mouth and watching all the persons passing by and giving them a look, as she wants to say: "play with me for a while..............."
Die stattliche LELA gewann Stück für Stück unsere Herzen und sie ist so dankbar, wenn jemand mit ihr Ball spielt. Sie hat fast immer einen Ball im Maul und sieht alle flehend an, als wenn sie sagen wollte: „Spiele eine Weile mit mir………………“
Today we became a visit again from this small and pretty "dog-walker" called Eduardo, together with his father, who helped us a lot. Also they left us a donation of 20 €.

Heute bekamen wir wieder Besuch von unserem kleinen hübschen „Hundeführer“ Eduardo zusammen mit seinem Vater, der uns oft geholfen hatte. Sie hinterließen uns eine Spende von
20 €. Vielen Dank euch zwei!!
Auch der vor einem Jahr adoptierte POMPON (der jetzt RANDY heißt) besuchte uns heute. Er verbringt hier einige Tage, während seine Familie im Süden Urlaub macht. Wir sehen, dass er ein hübscher, gepflegter Bursche ist.

MATTY, has a lump on his chest. The veterinarian had to operate, to see what it was. So he did and he removed something strange and was sent for analysis. We are waiting for the results. Meanwhile Matty is recovering in her cage and on the picture you can see the scar from the operation.
MATTY hatte einen Knoten in der Brust und der Tierarzt musste ihn operieren, um zu sehen, was es ist. Er entfernte etwas seltsames, das er zur Analyse eingeschickt hat. Nun warten wir auf das Ergebnis und in der Zwischenzeit erholt sich MATTY in seinem Zwinger. Auf dem Foto sieht man seine Operationsnarbe.
Guapa was also limping and we saw that she is wounded in her leg-pads. We are making some cures and with extra pampering from Petra, this will be over soon.
GUAPA hinkte und wir sahen, dass ihre Pfote verletzt war. Mit der entsprechenden Behandlung und den Streicheleinheiten von Petra ist das bald überstanden.
