El viaje paso sin problemas y todos llegaron bien y tranquilos a nuestra contacto ahi.
Die Reise verlief ohne Probleme und alle kamen gut und ruhig bei unserem dortigen Kontakt an.
The journey past without problems and they all arrived well and relaxed to our contact.

Gracias a todos y tambien a Doris, Frank y Melani que se ofrecieron como padrinos de vuelo. Llegaron a final de la tarde y recibimos de ellos un mensaje que todo salio bien y rapido en las dos aeropuertos. Y despues de dar un ult. abrazo a Guty de despedido lo dejaron a los 4 en manos de nuestra contacto.
Vielen Dank an alle, ins besonderes DORIS, FRANK und MELANIE, die sich als Flugpaten angebotten hatte. Sie landetetn am Abend und wir bekamen die Nachricht dass alles gut und schnell auf den beiden Flughäfen vonstatten ging.Und nachdem sie Guty eine letzte Umarmung gaben liessen sie die 4 in den Händen unseres Kontaktes in Deutschland.

Thanks to all and as well to Doris, Frank and Melani who offered themselves as flight attendants. At the end of the afternoon we received an message that everything went well and fast at the airports. And after giving the last hug to Guty they left the 4 of them in the hands of our contact in Germany.

UN TRISTE ADIOS A CURRO

El 29 de Junio 2010 recibimos una llamada de Dania con el triste mensaje que CURRO fallecio este mismo dia.

Curro entro en ANAHI en diciembre 2007 porque su familia lo trajo de la peninsula en un coche, pero la casa donde se alojaron no tenia sitio para el. Llevaba dias viviendo en el coche cuando lo dejaron a nosotros.Tenia ya sus añitos.... y el coche era demasiado peq. El entro con una herido en su rabo y al poco tiempo tuvimos que dejarlo pasar por quirafono para amputar una gran parte de su rabo. Asi fue recogida en la casa de unos de nuestros voluntarios. Al poco tiempo tuvimos para el un adoptante pero ahi en este casa/piso vivieron mas animales y la convivencia no resulto muy positivo.El entro de nuevo en la guarderia. Hasta un dia paso Dania para ver nuestros perros. Ella adopto ya hace un tiempo antes un Schnauzer gigante, (GEISHA) tambien mayorcita .Desde este dia CURRO entro en una nueva casa y recibi desde entonces todo el cariño y cuidados de Dania.

Ahi CURRO paso el resto de su vida muy feliz! Pero los años pasan.... y poco a poco CURRO tenia algunos problemillas por su edad ya avanzado.

CURRO se fue... tranquilo hechado en su casa donde recibi tanto amor y cariño de Dania.

DESCANSE EN PAZ CURRITO PEQUEÑO GRANDULON EN POCO TIEMPO ROBASTES EL CORAZÓN DE TODO NOSOTROS Y MAS DE LA PERSONA QUE TE DI TU ULTIMO HOGAR.
On the 29th of June 2010 we received a call from Dania with the sad news that CURRO past away that day. Curro came with ABAHI in December 2007 because his family brought him here in a car from the mainland of Spain, but in the house they were gone live was no space for him. He was living for days in the car when they left him with us. He was already a bit older..... and the car was very small. He came in with an injure on his tail and soon we had to take him to the vets. to amputate a big part of his tail. So for this he was taken for fostering by one of our volunteers. In a short time we found somebody who wanted to adopt him but their in the house/flat were living more animals and the results were not so positive. He came back to the shelter. Until one day Dania past by to see our animals. She adopted a while ago giant Schnauzer (GEISHA), also a bit older. From this day on CURRO went to his new home where he received all the love and care from Dania. Here CURRO past the rest of his life very happy! But years past by..... and bit by bit CURRO became some small problems because of his older age. CURRO past away..... lying quietly in his home receiving all the love and pampering of Dania.
REST IN PEACE CURRITO SMALL BIG BOY, IN SHORT TIME YOU STOLE THE HEARTS OF ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS AND MORE OF THE PERSON WHO GAVE YOU YOUR ULTIMATE HOME.

Happy End de Niki

Kaum zu glauben, aber wir haben auch für Niki ein neues Heim gefunden!
Unser Dank geht an Luigi, der im Süden von Gran Canaria lebt. Er hat sich sofort bereit erklärt, nachdem er das traurige Schicksal von Niki erfahren hat, das Entchen bei sich aufzunehmen. Niki heißt jetzt übrigens Memelo.
Es para no creerse,pero tambien para Niki hemos encontrado un nuevo hogar!
Nuestras gracias son para Luigi que vive en el sur de Gran Canaria. Estaba en seguida de acuerdo ,cuando supo del triste destino de Niki , de acoger el patito.
Por cierto Niki se llama ahora Memelo!
Hardly to believe, but we found a home for Niki! Our thanks to Luigi, who is living in the south of Gran Canaria. After hearing the sad story of Niki, he immediately agreed to take the duck into his home. Niki is now called Memelo.



Und wie man sieht ist Memelo nicht allein. Maria ist 3 Monate älter und nannte ihren neuen Artgenossen sofort willkommen. "Unser Entchen" hat jetzt eine grüne Wiese, wo es sich frei bewegen kann. Außerdem lebt es noch mit weiteren Tieren zusammen.
Haushund Maikel ist einer von ihnen. Er passt gut auf, dass den Tieren nichts geschieht. Er hat Memelo sofort akzeptiert.
Y como se puede observar Memelo no esta solo. Maria tiene 3 meses mas y le dio la bienvenida a su nuevo compañero. " Nuestro patito" tiene ahora un prado verde dode se puede mover con plena libertad. Ademas vive junto a otros animales mas.
Uno de ellos es el perro de la casa Maikel, El est siempre atento para que no les pase nada a todos los animales. El acepto Memelo en seguida.
And as you can see Memelo is not alone. Maria is a 3 months old duck and welcomes her new conspecifics. "Our duck" is having now a green field where he can move in freedom. He is also living with other animals together. House dog Maikel is one of them. He is really taking care of them, so nothing will happen to them. He accepted Memelo immedatialy.

Unser Entchen schnatterte aufgeregt zum Abschied, als wollte es noch "danke" sagen. Danke das es Menschen gibt, die ein Herz für Tiere haben.
Nuestro patito graznaba muy excitado cuando dijimos adios como si quisiera decirnos " gracias". Muchas gracias que excisten personas que tienen un corazon para los animales.
Our dog quaked excited when we said goodbye, like he wanted to say "thanks"
Thanks for that there are still people who have heart for animals.

BUBA NOS ESCRIBE DESDE SU CASA DE ACOGIDA

Hola a todos , soy Buba, un simpático cachorrito de unos 4 meses,me encuentro en una casa de acogida, en nuestras primeras semanas de vida mis hermanos y yo , cuando fuimos recogidos no estabamos muy bien pero yo estuve muy malito así dos humanos maravillosos mis papas de acogida ahora- Esther y Rubén- han cuidado de mí y ahora gracias a ellos estoy así de grande y guapo. Comparto casa con muchos compañeros, perros y gatos, aquí somos muchos , pero somos felices. Quiero que penseis en la importancia del voluntariado que hacen estas personas para ayudarnos y sobre todo en todos los que se ofrecen como casas de acogida, en especial para perritos que estuvieron enfermos como yo y también para aliviar el trabajo de estos centros que afortunamente existen.

Ahora ya me toca volar a un hogar definitivo, tengo ganas de tener unos dueños que sean mis verdaderos papas. Gracias a todos y aquí os espero.
Hello to everyone, I am Buba, a sympathetic puppy about 4 months old, I am in a foster home, in our first weeks of our lives my brother/sisters and me, when they found us, were not very well and I was really sick, so two marvellous people, my foster parents now - Esther and Rubén - took care of me and now thanks to them I am big and pretty like this. I am sharing a house with a lot of colleagues, dogs and cats, we are a lot over here, but we are very happy. I want you to think of the importance of volunteering that those people are making to help and above all those who are offering themselves as a foster homes, specially for dogs who has been really sick like me and also to ease the work of these centres which luckily exist.
Now it is my turn to fly to a permanent home, I am looking forward to have some owners who are gone be my real parents. Thanks to all and here I will wait for you.

PATY - ADOPTADA

PATY nunca imaginó que el destino le tenía preparado conocer a su hada madrina.
Lety entró como voluntaria en la Asociación y aqui conoció a nuestra Paty fue amor a primera vista. Primero la amadrinó, al tiempo decidió llevarsela a su casa por unos días de vacaciones.
Al dejarla en la guardería se dió cuenta que no podía vivir sin ella, pero lo más importante , es que Paty no podría tener una dueña como ella. Así que este Sabado oficialmente se realizaron los tramites de adopcion. De pasar de tener una madrina Paty logró tener una mamá.

PATY hatte niemals daran gedacht dass das Schicksal ihr eine gute Fee über den Weg schicken würde. Lety kam als freiwillige Helferin in unseren Verein und hier lernte sie Paty kennen. Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Zuerst übernahm sie die Patenschaft, nach einiger Zeit nahm sie sie für ein paar Tage mit nachhause. Als sie sie wieder im Heim ablieferte merkte sie,dass sie ohne sie nicht mehr sein konnte aber das Allerwichtigste war,dass Paty kein besseres "Frauchen" bekommen konnte als sie. Also wurde an diesem Samstag ganz ofiziell die Adoption vorgenommen. Anstelle einer Patin schaffte es Paty eine Mama zu haben.

PATY could never have imagined that her destiny was prepared to meet her fairy godmother. Lety came into the association as a volunteer and here she met our Paty, it was love at first sight. First she became godmother of Paty, with time she decided to take Paty home for some holidays. Leaving her again at the shelter she realized that she could not live without her, but even more important, Paty could not have a better owner then her. So on last Saturday they made officially the papers for the adoption. From having a godmother, Paty managed to make her her mammy.

TIKI - NOTICIAS DESDE SU CASA DE ACOGIDA

TIKI fue sacado de la perrera de Puerto Rico hace pocos meses, todavía recuerdo la imagen de él situado en un rincon de jaula muerto de miedo. Pero quisimos darle la oportunidad de demostrarle que eramos capaces de hacerle entender que le ayudariamos a olvidar su pasado.

Aunque ha mejorado bastante, todavía no ha perdido del todo su miedo a nosotros y se pone un poco rebelde de vez en cuando. El sábado pasado, dos compañeros decidieron llevarlo a casa , ésto le ayudará mucho para su equilibrio y así tener la oportunidad de encontrar pronto un hogar. Hemos recibido unas fotos preciosas , compartiendo juegos con sus nuevos amigos.

Seguiremos dando noticias de su evolución.

Vicente y Lorena mucho ánimo y mucha paciencia, no todo el mundo es capaz de hacer lo que ustedes.

TIKI wurde vor einigen Monaten von uns aus dem Tierheim in Puerto Rico geholt; ich sehe immer noch das Bild vor mir wie er, fast tot vor Angst ,in einer Ecke des Zwingers lag.Aber wir wollten ihm eine Möglichkeit geben um ihm beweisen zu können dass wir ihm helfen wollen seine Vergangenheit zu vergessen.

Obwohl es ihm schon besser geht , so hat er doch seinen Angst vor uns noch nicht ganz verloren und dadurch ist er ab und zu ein wenig aufrührerich. Vergangenen Samstag nahmen 2 von unseren Kollegen ihn mit zu sich nachhause.Dies hilft ihm sein seelisches Gleichgewicht zu finden und so die Möglichkeit hat bald ein neues eigenes Zuhause zu finden. Wir erhielten schöne Fotos von ihm beim Spielen mit seinen neuen Freunden.Wir werden weiter über seine Eingliederung berichten.

Vicente und Lorena habt viel Kraft und Geduld, nicht jedermann ist fähig zu tun was ihr tut.
TIKI was taken out of the dog-pound in Puerto Rico a few months ago, still remembering the picture of the situation, where he was in a corner of a cage, scared to death. But we wanted to give him the opportunity to show him that we are capable to let him understand that we will help him to forget his past. Although he is a lot better now, he still did not lost his fear completely for us and is getting a little rebellious from time to time. Last Saturday, two colleagues decided to take him home, this will help him with his balance and will give him the opportunity to find a home sooner for him. We received some precious pictures, playing with his new friends.
We will continue giving news about his evolution.

Anahi adoptiert sie und macht sie reisebereit damit sie ein neues Zuhause bekommen.

GRACE- HASTA SIEMPRE

GRACE, fue sacada hace unos meses de la Perrera de Puerto Rico- Mogán, era una perrita muy mayor y en muy mal estado de salud. La habían dejado alli Dios sabe... para que se muriera.

Voluntarios de Anahi en continuo contacto con esta perrera , conoció su caso y sin dudarlo decidimos sacarla de alli.

Despues de visitas y controles a veterinarios las noticias no eran buenas. Grace estaba enferma del higado , y muy pronto sin poder hacer nada que estuviera en nuestras manos nos dejaría.

Así todo, nuestros compañeros Yolanda y Domingo decidieron tenerla en su casa, donde los ultimos dias de su vida tendría todo el cariño y todos los cuidados. Fueron muchos idas y venidas al veterinario, medicación constante pero ellos lo hicieron con todo el cariño del mundo el mismo que les brindó GRACE por acogerla en su casa.

Hoy GRACE falleció, solo podemos mandarle todo el apoyo a nuestros compañeros que tantos días lucharon por ella. Pensad que GRACE no murió en una perrera , fría y solitaria , ella nos dejó pero vuestras conciencias pueden estar tranquilas y vuestros corazones hoy son más grandes si caben. Mucho ánimo amigos.

GRACE DESCANSA EN PAZ .

Grace wurde von uns aus dem Tierheim Puerto Rico-Mogan geholt; sie war eine schon etwas ältere Hündin und sehr krank. Man hatte sie dort abgegeben,weiss Gott weshalb....damit sie dort stirbt.

Freiwillige Helfer von Anahi,in ständigem Kontakt mit dem Tierheim hörten von dem Fall und entschieden sich ,ohne zu zögern,sie dort herauszunehmen.

Nach mehreren Arztbesuchen und Kontrolluntersuchungen waren die Aussichten nicht gut. Grace hatte ein schweres Leberleiden und über kurz würde sie uns, trotz all unseren Bemühungen, verlassen.

Trotz diesen nicht guten Aussichten nahmen unsere Kollegen Yolanda und Domingo sie mit nachhause um ihr ihre letzten Tage so schön wie möglich zu gestalten voller Liebe und Pflege.

Es waren viele Arztbesuche,laufende medikamentöse Behandlung aber sie taten es voller Liebe,dieselbe die ihnen GRACE gab von dem Moment an wo sie bei ihnen unterkam als Pflegling.

Heute verstarb GRACE und wir können unseren Kollegen unsere Hilfe anbieten ,ihnen die solange für sie gekämpft haben.

Denkt daran,GRACE starb nicht alleine in einem kalten Raum im Tierheim. Sie ist von uns gegangen aber ihr habt ein sauberes Gewissen und euere Herzen sind heute noch grösser,falls dies möglich ist.

GRACE , RUHE IN FRIEDEN!!!
GRACE, was taken out of the dog-pound in Puerto Rico - Mogan, she was an old dog and in a very bad health state. Who had left her there only god knows...... so she would die.
Volunteers of Anahi made strait away contact with this dog-pound, knowing about her case and without doubt took her out of there. After visiting and control of the veterinarians the news was not so good. Grace was sick of her liver, and that she will leave us sooner then we wish. So, our colleagues Yolanda and Domingo decided to take her home, where she would receive all the love and care in her last days of her live. There were many visits to the veterinarians, current medications, but they did it with all the love they have, the same GRACE gave to them from the moment they took her out of the dog-pound into their home for fostering.
Today GRACE died, we can only send all our support to our colleagues who have been fighting all those days for her. Remember, GRACE did not die in a dog-pound, cold and lonely, she left us, but your conscience is clean and your hearts are even bigger today if possible. Lot of strength friends. GRACE, REST IN PEACE.

Hola , aqui estamos otravez! Como pueden ver estamos creciendo muy bien! Nuestra casa de acogida esta muy bien, no nos falta de nada! Bueno ... lo unico que nos falta es una casa propia!

SOPRESA DEL DIA

Despues de mucho tiempo estar en una jaula con nosotros, ADA y TOM , estan ya en una casa.
Los dos estaban siempre juntos hasta que estuvimos pensando de separarlos. Pero hoy lo hemos llevado a un nuevo lugar. Tenemos que esperar si ellos ahi se adaptan. Tom ya estaba mas tranquilo, Ada como siempre muy asustada por todo lo que es nuevo o extraña.
Nach sehr langer Zeit in einem Zwinger bei uns haben ADA und TOM ein Zuhause.Die beiden waren immer zusammen bis wir daran dachten sie zu trennen. Aber heute haben wir sie an einen neuen Ort gebracht. Wir müssen nun warten ob sie sich dort anpassen. Tom war schon etwas ruhiger nur Ada war wie immer ängstlich vor allem Neuen und Fremden.
After being with us for a very long time in a cage, ADA and TOM, are now in a home. The two of them have been always together and we where thinking to separate them. But today we took them to a new place. We have to wait and see if they are adapting well there. Tom was already more relaxed, Ada as always very scared for everything what is new and strange.

Es una casa con terreno grande y todo vallada ,aqui en el sur de la isla y para ellos una oportunidad de por fin vivir en libertad!

SUERTE CHICOS, APROVECHA ESTE LUGAR DONDE SEGURO NO OS VA A FALTAR CARIÑO !

DIAS DE GUARDERIA

Presentamos a DORA...... es una hembrita que nuestra compañera Cristina encontro y ademas estaba embarazada. Dora ya esta esterilizada, su test de Filarias es negativo y esta lista para su adopción. Despues de entrar un poco sucio se baño y ahora esta algo mas blanco y oliendo a perfume. Es una perrita joven y muy alegre.
Wir stellen ihnen DORA vor...es ist ein Weibchen dass unsere Kollegin Cristina fand und ausserdem war sie auch trächtig. Jetzt ist Dora steriliziert, der Filarientest war negativ somit ist sie fertig zur Adoption.Nachdem sie bei ihrer Ankunft etwas schmutzig war wurde sie gebadet und nun ist sie etwas weisser und riecht nach Parfüm. Es ist eine junge Hündin und recht fröhlich.
We present you DORA..... she is a female who was found by our colleague Cristina and surprise: she was pregnant. Now Dora is sterilized, her heart-worm test was negative and she is ready for her adoption. After she came in a little bit dirty, she had a bath and now she is a bit more white and smells to perfume. She is a young and very happy dog.

Pitufo como siempre el "Clown" de la guarderia! Michael quiso hacerse hoy una paseo en moto con Pia...pero nos faltaba un casco para Pia.

Pitufo wie immer der " Clown" des Tierheimes! Michael wollte heute einen Spaziergang auf dem Motorrad mit Pia machen.....aber leider hatten wir keinen Schutzhelm für Pia.
Pitufo as always the "Clown" at the shelter! Michael wanted to take a ride on the motor with Pia..... but we had no helmet for Pia.

BOMBOM y LEA vuelve von Natali , ella siempre lleva a los dos para ir a hacer "footing" por el baranco . Picolina solita en el jardin.. ella esta en celo pero tambien tiene derecho a correr un poco.

BOMBOM und LEA kamen zurück mit Natali,sie nimmt immer die beiden mit zum "footing" durch die Schlucht. PICOLINA allein im Garten....sie ist momentan hitzig aber sie hat auch ein Recht darauf herumzurennen.
BOMBOM and LEA came back with Natali, she always take those two to make "jogging" in the barranco. Picolina alone in the garden.... she is in heat, but she also has to right to run a little bit.

Las nuevas voluntarias volvieron fiel para sacar tambien a algunos podenquillos.

Die neuen freiwilligen Helferinnen kamen treu zurück um mit den Podencos spazierenzugehen.
The volunteer came faithful back to go for a walk with some of our podencos.

Sabrina y Eugen estan de vacaciones en la isla y siempre se ofrecen de padrinos de vuelo. Ellos pasearon como pueden ver a TOM y ADA.
