This is a history with a happy ending, which shows that people can help animals when there is a will and they want to. And in this case they did and they did very well.

Todo empezó cuando una voluntaria de ANAHI se enteró que en un risco, en el que hay peligro de desprendimiento de piedras, y que está protegido con una red, había un gatito que no podia salir de ahí y llevaba dos dias maullando desesperado. (es la manchita blanca en el centro de la foto)
This all started when one volunteer of ANAHI found out that in a crag, where is danger of falling rocks, and is protected with a net, was a kitten who could not get out of there and was already there two days meowing desperately ( the white spot in the centre of the picture).

Era imposible llegar hasta allí, pues hay 50 m. de altura, pero como tenia un amigo en el Cuerpo de Bomberos de Galdar, gran amante de los animales, le pidió ayuda.
It was impossible to get there, because there are 50 m. of high, but because this volunteer had a friend at the fire department of Galdar (who is a big lover of animals), she asked for help.
Weil es sich in einer Höhe von 50m befand, war es unmöglich, dorthin zu gelangen. Aber unsere Freiwillige hat einen Freund bei der Feuerwehr in Galdar, der ebenfalls Tierliebhaber ist, um Hilfe gebeten.
Pues esto es lo que pasó.
Enseguida se movilizaron los compañeros y empezó la labor de rescate.
Primero instalaron una gran grua en la base.

Colleagues were mobilized immediately and began the rescue work.

Entonces decidieron cambiar de estrategia, y subir a lo alto de la montaña y descender a pie hasta el lugar.

Uno de ellos lo consiguió y este es el momento del rescate.
One of them could get the kitten and this was the moment of the rescue.
Einer von ihnen konnte das Kätzchen ergreifen und das war der Moment der Rettung.
Y aquí vemos al "escalador" ya salvado y en las buenas manos de Jeanette, la voluntaria de ANAHI. ¡ Esperemos que no se le ocurra repetir la aventura. !
