DIA DE GUARDERIA CON PASEOS, BAÑOS Y MIMOS

Primero hora de la mañana nos vino MONIKA, otravez aqui de vacaciones y con una hucha de ANAHI que ella dejo en un Bar en el centro comercial CITA. Despues de contarlo tenia 60,70 € dentro! Nada mal! Cada euro es un ayuda a nuestros animales!
Early in the morning came MONIKA, again here on holidays and with a money-box of ANAHI which she left in a bar at the shopping centre CITA. After counting the money there was 60.70 € in it! Very good! Each euro is a help for our animals!


Tutan tenia hoy su paso por la peluqueria , baño y cepillado para estar de lo mas guapa antes de su viaje. Buddy posando aqui y pensando; " Cuando es mi turno???? Yo tambien quiero una familia!
Tutan past by the hairdressers today, bath and brushing to be as pretty as possible before he goes to travel. Buddy posing here and thinking; "When will be my turn??? Me as well want to have a family!!"
Juani trajo hoy una gatita , fue encontrado al lado de la cera y muy asustada. Ya paso por el veterinario por que dentro de poco tambien ella viajara a su nueva familia.
Juani brought a cat, found beside the side-walk and really scared. She already stopped by the vets. because soon she is gone travel as well to her new family.


Tenemos todavia a un par de perritos tambien esperando una familia aqui Grisu de apenas 3 kilos , salvado de la perrera .......
We still have a few dogs who as well are waiting for a family, here we have Grisu only with 3 kilos of weight, rescued from the dog-pound.......
Micky que lo recogimos de la calle, el pobre vino detras de todos los perros que pasearonpor la calle con sus dueños pidiendo...me llevas tambien??Y Happy su compañero de jaula que era rescatada de una vida atado a una cadena en plena sol, frio por la noche y sin tener un refugio cuando llovia.
Micky who we took from the street, the poor one was following all the dogs who where walking on the street with their owners asking..... you take me as well?? And Happy, his companion in the cage, rescued from a live where he was tied up on a chain completely in the sun, cold in the night and no place to hide when it was raining.



Tambien toco baño y cepillado a JEM! El baño...vale..pero cepillar???? Es que no me gusta!!!
Y cuando ya terminada y seco busco refugio .Tambien ella viajara a su nueva familia.
Also it was the turn of JEM to get a bath and some brushing! The bath.... ok..... but brushing???? That I really don`t like!!!! Ones she finished and dry she found a place to hide. As well she will travel to her new family.

Y con tantos mimos para los pequeños, tambien hubo tiempo para los "grandes" ! Gracias a los voluntarios todos tuvieron su paseo de siempre, con baños,
And with all this pampering for the small ones, there was still time left for the "big ones"! Thanks to the volunteers they all became their walk as always, with bathing.


Tiempo para resfrescar la gargantas y mimos... muchos mimos!

LOLO SE HA ADOPTADO

Hoy recibimos una noticia estupenda.
Today we received some great news.

El dia 9 de Enero Yurena nos escribió pidiendo ayuda para buscar una familia para un un perrito que encontró hace medio año cuando salía de su trabajo.
Le puso de nombre LOLO y lo llevó al veterinario y cuidó hasta que se le hizo muy dificil poder atenderlo, entonces nos pidió ayuda.
Pusimos su foto en nuestra web y gracias a eso LOLO se ha adoptado.
On the 9th of January Yurena wrote us and asked to help to find a family for a dog she found about 6 months ago when she was leaving her work.
She gave him the name LOLO and took him to a veterinarian and took care of him until it get really difficult to give him the attention he needed and that`s when she asked us for help.
We putted his picture on our web-site and thanks to that LOLO is now adopted.

Nos encanta recibir estas noticias de los perros que ponemos en el apartado de particulares, pues es una forma mas de ayudar a los perros y a las personas.
We love it when we receive news from the dogs we put in our section private, because this is another way to help dogs and persons.

PERRITA ABANDONADA CON LAS OREJAS RECIEN CORTADAS

Richard nos pide ayuda para buscar adoptante para esta perrita que encontró abandonada en la calle, con las orejas recien cortadas y completamente desnutrida.
Richard asked us for help to find somebody who wants to adopt this female dog who was found abandoned on the street, with recently the ears cut and completely undernourished.
Richard bat uns um Hilfe für diesen Hund, den er total unernährt und mit frisch beschnittenen Ohren gefunden hat.

Según el veterinario tiene 9 meses y es una hembra pit bull, lo que hace muy difícil encontrarle un dueño adecuado.
The veterinarian says that she is about 9 months old and a pit bull, which makes it more difficult to find an adapted owner.
Schätzungsweise 9 Monate alt, eine Pitbull hündin, was es noch schwieriger machen wird.

Ya la esterilizaron y pusieron el chip. Se busca una familia que pueda cuidar bien este tipo de perro.
She now is sterilized and has a microchip. They are looking for a family who knows well to take care of this kind of breed.
Sie ist bereits gechipt und sterilisiert, so sucht sie jetzt eine Familie die diese Art Hunde gut pflegen kann.

HOY FUIMOS A VISITAR A CHOPPY

Hoy fuimos a ver a CHOPPY a su casa. El está adoptado desde el mes de Mayo 2010 y lo hemos encontrado estupendamente. Está gordito, pelo brillante, y muy cariñoso y tranquilo.
Today we went to see CHOPPY in his home. He got adopted last year in May and we saw that he looks marvellous. He is well fed, shiny coat, and he is very loving and quiet.

Nos cuentan que los primeros dias lloraba un poquito, pero ahora se porta muy bien, es muy bueno, no ladra, y no molesta a nadie.

Solo falta corregirle un pequeño defecto, ! le encanta meter la cabeza en la basura !.........pero bueno, todo se andará, porque lo quieren mucho y con paciencia todo se arregla.
They told us that the first days he was crying a bit, but now he is behaving very well, very good, does not bark and is not molesting anybody.
Only they need still to correct a small defect... he loves to put his face into the garbage!! But ok, they are sure they will fix this, because they love him very much and with patience everything can be fixed.

UN DIA PRECIOSA EN EL BARANCO

Fiel como siempre, nuestros Padrinos de vuelo llegaron primera hora de la mañana para pasear! La mañana era fresquita y agradable.
Faithful as always, our flight attendants arrived early in the morning to walk dogs! The morning was a little bit cold but nice.

TAMBIEN ELLOS NECESITAN UNA OPORTUNIDAD

Ahi dejamos un hueco para perros y gatos que estan buscando una nueva familia. Algunos de ellos encontrados abandonados, otros que por circunstancias de la vida no puede quedarse mas con su actual familia.

There we left space for dogs and cats who are looking for a new family. Some of them were found abandoned, others can not stay any longer with their family for circumstances of life.

AYER TOCO PINCHAZOS Y MEDICACION

Al comenzar la mañana BARI estaba muy tranquilo y confiado en su casa de acogida. El ya está adoptado, y pronto sus papis vendran a buscarlo. Ahora sabe que la vida le sonrie, pero el lo pasó muy mal en la vida, primero abandonado, despues en la Perrera de Santa Brigida medio muerto de miedo, despues en tratamiento durante dos meses porque tenia filaria, pero ya todo pasó y ahora completamente curado, es feliz.
To start the morning BARI was really quiet and trustful in his foster home. He is already adopted, and soon his new family will come for him. Now he know life is a sunshine, but he had a really bad past, first abandoned, second in the dog-pound of Santa Brigida scared to death and at least a heart-worm treatment for two months, but that is all past and he is completely cured now and happy.

A PULI le pasa otro tanto. Ella lo ha pasado mal porque estaba abandonada, y despues se puso muy malita, tan malita que creimos que no salia adelante, tuvo que estar ingresada en la clinica, pero ya todo pasó, está recuperada y pronto se va a reunir con su familia que la está esperando en Alemania. Mientras una dulce mirada para la camara en su casa de acogida.
As well to PULI happened a lot. She had a bad time because she was abandoned, and then she got really sick, so sick that we did not think that she was gone make it and she was hospitalised in a clinic, but this is now all behind her, she is recovered and soon she will be reunited with her family who is already waiting for her in Germany. This sweet picture is taken in her foster home.

Hoy recibimos de vuelta desde Alemania por barco los transportines que hemos ido mandando con nuestros perros. ¡ Menos mal ! porque ya no teniamos casi ninguno en la oficina, y los necesitabamos con urgencia.

Primero hubo que ir a buscarlos al muelle y despues descargarlos y meterlos en la oficina. Es mucho peso y mucho trabajo, pero nuestros perros merecen eso y mucho mas.
Today we received back from Germany in a boat the transport-boxes we did send with our dogs. Thank god!! Because we almost didn`t have any left in the office, and we really needed them urgently.
First we had to search them in the port and then leave them in the office. They are really heavy and it`s a lot of work, but our dogs deserve this and a lot more.

Como vinieron bastantes voluntarios par pasear a los perros, pronto se pasearon a todos y hubo tiempo de jugar con ellos en el jardin, como Anna, nuestra madrina de vuelo, aquí con MICKY, GRISU y TRINO.
Because a lot of volunteers came to walk the dogs, soon we walked all dogs and we had time to play with them in the garden, like Anna, our flight attendant, here with MICKY, GRISY and TRINO.

Hoy tocó medicación, y José Antonio distribuye las pastillas con un listado, y las envuelve en un paté para que los perros se las tomen con gusto.
Today it was time for medication, and José Antonio was distribution the tablets with a list, and putting them into some meat so the dogs liked to take them.

Después tocó inyección refuerzo de las vacunas, SOFIA Y AIKA, como buenos podencos, duros y fuertes ni se inmutan, ni protestan, ni se enteran.
After that it was time to give some of our dogs the vaccinations, SOFIA and AIKA, like good podencos (strong canarian hunting dogs), didn`t protest, not molest not even realising that they got an injection.


GRISU, tan pequeñito, es mas mimosito, y lloró un poco. Pero ahi estaban Renee y Stella para consolarlo y decirle "ea, ea, ea, ya pasó mi niño".
GRISU, so small, and really loving, cried a bit. But there where Renee and Stella to let him feel comfortable and say to him, hey hey, it is already done sweetheart!!

BUDDY y MICKY tambien se portaron muy bien, y no protestaron. ¡Buenos chicos!
BUDDY and MICKY as well behaved very well, and didn`t protest at all. Well done Boys!!

En la guarderia siempre hay algo que hacer, trabajos grandes y pequeños y tambien hay que lavar las tazas del café al final de la mañana, como están aquí haciendo Christiane y Natascha.
At the shelter is always something to do, big jobs and small jobs and as well jobs like doing the dishes at the end of the morning, like Christiane and Natascha are doing here.
