Primera hora de la mañana nos metimos en ayudar a Antolin de limpiar las jaulas...... cada uno estuve lleno de hojas y antes de poder limpiar recogimos primero. Mientras uno llenaba la fuente..otra limpiaba...o preparo el agua de los perros con agua limpia y fresquita mezclandola con cubitos de hielo.
Heute früh halfen wir zuerst Antolin beim säubern der Zwinger. Wir haben Siroco, den heißen Wüstenwind und 45 Grad. Die Bäume werfen alle ihre welken Blätter ab, um ihre Wasserreserven zu schonen. Daher mußten wir zuerst alle Blätter aufsammeln und konnten dann mit der eigentlichen Arbeit beginnen. Einige haben den Pool für die Hunde gesäubert und mit frischen Wasser bestückt, andere säuberten die Zwinger, wechselten das warme abgestandene Wasser gegen frisches klares Wasser und mit Eiswürfel aus.
The first thing we did when we came in was helping Antolin with cleaning the cages, those were full with leaves and we had to take them out before we could start with the proper cleaning. While one was filling a clean source.... other was preparing water for the dogs with clean, fresh water mixed with ice cubes.
y cada vez metimos mas y mas perros en el jardin...para que todos`pudieron resfrescarse en la fuente.
und nach und nach kamen alle Hunde in den Garten und konnten ein Bad im Pool nehmen und sich darin erfrischen.
and each time we put more and more dogs in the garden...... so they all could refresh themselves in the source.
Mr. Bean entro tambien, primero mezclandolo con los pequeños..y poco a poco metimos un podenco mas...hasta el jardin estuve a tope!
Der Boxer Mr. Bean war der erste, den wir zu den kleinen Hunden in den Garten ließen. Und nach und nach kamen die Podencos hinzu. Bis der Garten bis zum Anschlag voller Hunde war.
Mr. Bean made his first entry in the garden, first we mixed him with some small dogs.... and little by little we put some more podencos..... until the garden was packed!!!
Lucy fui recogida de su casa de acogida....... y salio hoy felizmente a su nueva casa y familia. Ellos viven aqui en el sur de la isla..... y estamos seguro que va a tener un hogar de maravilla!
Lucy war in einer Pflegestelle untergebracht und wurde heute glücklich in ein neues Haus und eine eigene Familie vermittelt. Die Familie lebt hier im Süden auf Gran Canaria und wir sind uns sicher, sie wird dort ein wundervolles Heim haben.
Today Lucy left her fosterhome....... to go happily to her new home and family. They live in the south of the island..... and we are sure that she is going to have a marvellous home.

La sopresa en la puerta este mañana son estos 3 podenco`s........tenia una carta en la caja y escrito por un niño/a ; ANAHI porfavor cuidalos porque mi papa mato a los otros hermanos.........
Wie immer gab es eine Überraschung. Heute früh warteten uns diese 3 kleinen Podencos in einem Karton vorm Eingangstor, mit einem Brief in Kinderschrift. ANAHI bitte kümmert Euch um die Kleinen. Mein Papa hat die anderen Geschwister schon getötet .....
A suprise at the door this morning are these 3 podenco`s...... they were left with a note attached on the box and written by a child: ANAHI please take care of them, because my father has already killed the brothers.........

casi al final de la mañana nos vino una pareja, Desiré y Javier, ellos estan en San Agustin de vacaciones y encontraron cerca de elmasa una hembra con 2 cachorros. La mama casi no pudo mas y buscaba dentro el barro y arena un lugar juntos con sus cachoritos. Nos pidieron ayuda y despues de dejar un transportin volvieron al poco tiempo con ellos. La Mama lleno de pulgas y garapatas y los pequeños tambien lleno de pulgas. Despues de pasar el lector... y ni rastro de un chip, lo limpiamos a los 3 de sus inquilinos.... mojamos a ellos tambien un poco y lo dejamos con cama limpia y agua y comida en la guarderia.
Und ganz zum Schluß, als wir schon fast gehen wollten, kam noch ein Paar, Desire und Javier, die gerade in San Agustin Urlaub machen. Die fanden bei Elmasa eine Hündin mit 2 Welpen. Die Hündin konnte sich und ihre Jungen nicht mehr vor der Hitze schützen, suchten vergeblich nach ein schattiges, kühles Plätzchen. Die Urlauber baten uns daher um etwas Wasser und eine Transportbox und kamen kurze Zeit später mit den Hunden zurück. Die Hundemama war voller Flöhe und Zecken und die Kleinen hatte auch schon reichlich Flöhe. Unser Lesegerät zeigte, wie soll es auch anderes sein, keinen Chip bei der Hündin. Nachdem wir alle drei gesäubert und etwas erfrischt haben, ließen wir sie in einem sauberen Bett und mit frischem Wasser und Fressen zu Frieden.
At the end of the morning a couple, Desiré & Javier came in, they are on holiday in San Agustin and they found close to Elmasa a female dog with 2 puppy`s. The mama was almost finished and was looking in the mud and sand for a place for her and her puppy`s. The couple took a transport-box and in a little time they came back with the dog-family. Mami was full of fleas and ticks and the puppy`s also full of fleas. Afther finding out if she had a microchip, which she didn`t had, we cleaned them up, refreshed them bit by bit and we left them with a clean bed, water and food at the shelter.

Peque la pequeña que nos vino el dia 4 de julio muy enfermo...porfin lo dejaron salir despues de 4 semanas de la clinica!
Todavia tiene un monton de medicamentos al dia....pero ya esta en una casa de acogida. Tiene todavia algo de mocos en la nariz....... pero engordo por lo menos un poquito. Este mañana despues de comer un poquito busco su cama..... y aunque hay mas perros en la casa de acogida.... ella defiende la suya como si fuera de todo la vida!
Die kleine Peque kam am 4.Juli sehr krank zu uns. Nach 4 Wochen in der Tierklinik wurde sie nun endlich entlassen. Sie bekommt jeden Tag viele Medikamente und befindet sich daher in einer Pflegestelle. Sie hat noch immer etwas Schnupfen, aber dafür hat sich auch schon ein bischen zugenommen. Nach dem Fressen geht sie immer in ihr Bettchen. Obwohl viele Hunde in der Pflegestelle wohnen, verteidigt Peque ihr Bettchen, wie ihr eigenes Leben.
